Before you dive into outreach and figuring out where your soon to be clients congregate. You need to know exactly who you want to target, and with what service. Not being extremely clear about this will blur the lines and make it a lot harder for you to consistently see results in outreach.
Instagram is the hub of all people. For almost every niche, you can find an ideal audience of yours that congregates and can be outreach to on the platform. This is why it is a trusted first option, and great for beginners because of its simplicity and easy to use features you probably already know. In order to test on this platform, make searches for different keywords to find your niche.
Example:
Extremely similar to instagram, facebook is a very strong platform to use for outreach. Your niche will 100% congregate on facebook. The reason we want to check Instagram first is because FB are very strict about messaging and restrictions. Thefore you will often be evading suspensions. In order to be effective on Facebook and send solid outreach numbers consistently, you MUST have multiple accounts. That being said, here is how you can test.
Example:
Linkedin is a super platform for outreach where you can guarantee your niche congregates. The reason linkedin is to be checked later is because it is a very different type of outreach. Due to the more corporate nature of the platform, more experience will be required to yield consistent results. That being said, this is always a solid backbone.
In the almost 0% chance that all else fails, you have the option of using cold email. If linkedin didn’t work it means most lead scraps and databases won’t be able to pull your ideal prospects either, therefore you’ll have to find leads in the timely fashion of using google maps. This is a last resort and the hardest outreach channel to make work with 0 experience, therefore I strongly recommend you pick one of the ones before this.
